Dr. David Attia completed his undergraduate training at Griffith University, Queensland. Following graduation, he also a Postgraduate Diploma in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at the City of London Dental School and a Master’s of Science in Oral Implantology through Goethe University in Frankfurt, Germany. Dr. Attia is a fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy, an active member of the Australian Society of Implant Dentistry (ASID), The International Team for Implantology (ITI) and a Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI).
Dr. Attia is a Senior Faculty Member and Clinical Supervisor for the Australasian College of Dental Practitioners Post-Graduate Diploma in Oral Implants Program, and also holds a teaching appointment with Goethe University as a surgical and clinical mentor for Australian students completing their Master’s of Science in Oral Implantology. David is passionate about sharing knowledge and lectures extensively on surgical and restorative implant dentistry, periodontal-plastic surgery and clinical photography both nationally and abroad. He is also regularly involved in live surgical training of dentists looking to begin or advance their journey in dental implantology.
Whilst his clinical practice is referral based with a strong focus on surgical and rehabilitative treatment modalities, Dr. Attia thoroughly enjoys the multi-disciplinary approach to clinical dentistry. David’s unique combination of education and training allows him to implement cutting-edge treatment, offering patients comprehensive, predictable and long-term treatment solutions.
